This wonderful characteristic has allowed for us to use it in order to create a temporary easy to set and to remove (with buttons) barrier that stops a little child (under 18 months of age), from accidentally falling out of the tower, or falling when climbing or descending.

This wonderful characteristic has allowed for us to use it in order to create a temporary easy to set and to remove (with buttons) barrier that stops a little child (under 18 months of age),  from accidentally falling out of the tower, or falling when climbing or descending.

The use of a Montessori tower is recommended to start when the child is ready, meaning when they have enough skills to use it safely, and a Montessori tower purpose it to foster their independence, meaning they should be able to go in and out of the tower by themselves, freely, and whenever they want. With the felt protection, our tower can be used even before the child can climb by themselves into it, and can be very easily removed as soon as the child can climb safely in the tower. This is one of the many features that make our tower the most versatile in the whole market.

The moment when the felt protection is no longer necessary must be decided by the parent. 

The felt wrap can also be used to complete a high chair setup, making it safe and comfortable to use for an 8 to 18 months child.
