A matter close to our hearts: actively supporting children based on the Montessori approach

Leea Toys is a family business run by parents for parents. Dan Popa, who is a father himself, founded the family business out of a desire to make the world even more exciting for children and to encourage them in their independence. Inspired by modern, child-orientated educational methods according to Montessori, and after years of trials and practical tests, he developed the Leea Learning Tower® over years of trials and practical tests. Our multifunctional Learning Tower has won four design awards. It is the company's flagship product.

The company also markets another new product: the Leea Adventure Corner, see www.getleo.de. Just like the Leea Learning Tower, it is extremely multifunctional, and offers different play and learning opportunities.

At Leea Toys, we believe in early education, the independence of the child and maximum freedom of movement. Interaction between adults and children, purposeful play and respectful interaction with children are topics close to our hearts. Our Learning Tower – inspired by Montessori – enables all of this.

Sustainability is also very important to us. The materials we use are natural substances and should be used with care. Our appreciation of raw materials motivates us to run our company carefully and sustainably. All our products are handmade. They are responsibly produced in Europe. And they are characterised by high quality and ingenuity.

Company founder Dan Popa is Romanian, and the Leea Toys production facility with its small, permanent team has been located in the Republic of Moldova since 2019. There is a branch in the German city Düsseldorf, because parents in Germany and France in particular share our interest in Montessori methods. Both countries are among the most important markets for the Leea Learning Tower.

Meaningful play, curious exploration and participation at eye level is so much better than television. Children are natural learners and explorers.
